Disabling wireless on nc8000

I have read the "Disable Wireless Networking and Bluetooth on NX9110" thread and agreed with the last response which is to hit the on/off button and then disabling the button on the bios. Then password protecting the bios. The only issue I have is that even after disabling the wireless button, the wireless LED still comes on. This does not give our customers a warm fuzzy feeling about our assurance that the wireless functions are turned off. Is there anything else I can try, other than removing the card?

Hey.

You can allways cute the led wires :).. More serously, i think that the led is directly connected to that button, and if you have disabled wireless in bios it works just on/off button for the led.
