dv2023 Display problem.
Have a dv2000 laptop just over a year old. It's been working fine until yesterday I was using it at work with a monitor attached to the VGA port split screen scenario.
Shut it down after work then when I got home turned it on to find what I thought was no video.
It turns out the video is there but only faintly.
The mouse pad doesn't work and the WIFI is OFF.
Moving the WIFI/Bluetooth switch to OFF shows it is goes to the disabled state. Turning it on shows OFF on the screen with an external monitor connected.
Have dismantled unit and reseated connectors but no change. Reseated connector on display inverter but no change.
Is this a system board problem ?
Any assistance would be appreciated.
