DV6700
I called in to customer support today. They told me they knew of the ongoing problems with my DV6700 but it was not covered under the extended warranty. They said that they own the forums and knew perfectly what my issue is. My product was manufactured in 2008 and only products manufactured in 2006 and 2007 would be covered. The cost to fix my motherboard would be $380. I guess it is goodbye HP for life. I would run and tell all of your friends now to run from HP asap and to sell their stock because with service like this they will not last long.
