Error code 39 Windows cannot load device for this hardware
When I try to Install the 54g wireless network adaptor manufactured by Belkin, I get this error in device manager as
"Code 39: Windows cannot load device for this driver."
Operating system: Windows XP home addition
The steps that I carried out is aas follows:
1. I removed the card using the deive manager and tried reinstalling ( with installation of the software used for managing the wireless card first as recommended by the manufacturer) - it gives me the error: Setup is interrupted unable to complete the installation.
2. I check in the device manager and the card is not installed.
3. I tried reinstalling only the drivers using the found new hardware wizard - it shows up a blue screen with error "Hardware malfunction"
4. I tried different PCI slot yet the same error.
Do you have any resolutions. I would be happy to hear from you.

Re: Error code 39 Windows cannot load device for this hardware
If your setup goes thru up to the time you have to insert your card, and then you get this message, my 2cents is that you have a deficient hardware, that should be changed.
I suppose you have latest driver.

Do you have the latest upgrades from
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
and the latest software from Belkin?
http://web.belkin.com/support/download/download.asp?category=9〈=1&mode=
if so send it back as being defective.
