Flash - Node Address PROM Error
Node Address PROM Error
I downloaded the latest firmware upgrade for my 3124 repeater hub. I transfered the first file over (750015-8.BIN) and the response was that of the helpfile. Excellent
I then proceeded to upload the 750016-8.BIN and then it all went wrong. It appeared to go through alright but when the hub reset and returned the firmware version info, it gets very close to completion and returns the PROM error.

And then it keeps scrolling this error continously. If it would stop, I could try the flash again.
Apart from the "Start SRAM Tests" at the beginning entered twice, everything up to the error appears identical as the helpfile which accompanies the upgrade SP3156.
Directly before the error it should read Networth Management Daughter Board. and then give copyright info, confirm Version 1.21 and stop.
Ive looked at the manual, trawled the net, even removed the cover looking for a battery to disconnect. There is jumpers on the daughter board but no instructions about what they are for.
I think i need a reset switch/ jumper or something.
I would be grateful for any advice/help.
Regards
Marx
