JetDirect Commands
Is there anyway to connect to a JetDirect printer via TCP/IP or SNMP and manage print jobs? I was considering writing a simple PHP queue manager for JetDirect printers, and I haven't been able to find much information about communications with JetDirect. Can anyone point me to some relevent documentation?

Re: JetDirect Commands
Jeff,
I used Jetadmin software to manage and setup JetDirect Print Servers.
I used telnet to setup JetDirect print Server several times from the command line. Once you are connected, type / and you'll get a list of the commands.
While using the commands, nothing will be shown as you type the command to setup whatever so becareful. If you think you messed up something and you don't know what you changed, then go to the JetDirect Print Server, Hold down the TEST button for a few seconds assuming that you have it connected to a printer and you'll get a print out for the current configuration of the JetDirect Print Server. Use the IP address to connect to the JetDirect Print Server and do your changes as required.
Hope this help
