Limiting Internet access
I have an office with 10 users that is currently privately networked and they do share files. There is no link to the outside world. Two of the machines access the internet by using their dialup access to AOL to access email and web browsing. The eight should not have access to the Internet. I am thinking about replacing my dialup access with DSL to speed things up. How can I do this, and still only have two that have Internet access. Thanks. Kirk

Re: Limiting Internet access
The easiest way is... firewalling !
It depends on your operating systems, but you can have a basic machine between your DSL router and your network (it will have to network cards) telling that this IP on your network (or better : this mac address) can access, and this can't. More details if you precise :
- How are the machines linked ?
- Do you have a server ?
- Which OS ?
