Radius local AP
I am configuring an access point hp ap 530 and I have a problem with the authentification radius local.
I've configured a wpa 802.1x with a local radius. When I want to connect to the AP I have a message from Windows that it can't find a certificate.
How can I do to generate a certificate and to say to the AP that I use this certificate for the authentification.
In the settings we can't say anywhere that we use a specific certificate.
Do you have any ideas?
Best regards,
HER

Re: Radius local AP
Further to that, on the clients I've found that you also need to unselect any options of 'validate server certificate'

Re: Radius local AP
I did it, but it doesn't work. The system doesn't ask a certificate now, however the client can't can't connect to the AP.

Re: Radius local AP
I am facing similar problem to the one that was discussed as part of this thread.
(1) Have configured Dynamic WEP (Radius Server)
on my Wireless 420wl AP
(2) Configured Network Authentication/Data
Encryption as Open/WEP. Also did the
similar configuration changes as mentioned.
But, the client does not get the IP address
eventhough the 420wl has been added as one
of the Radius Client.
Please let me know what I need to do for my
laptop to get the IP address.
Thanks & Regards,
Nameesh.
