Re: SECURITY
Two things I recommend you do:
1) Get a firewall if you already do not have one. If you don't have one and you have Windows XP, activate it by going to Start|Control Panel|Network and Internet Connections|Network Connections then right click the connection and go to Properties. Click on the Advanced tab, then check the box next to "Protect my computer and network by limiting or preventing access to this computer from the Internet".
2}Download Filemon. This program is Freeware and monitors everything that goes on in your computer. Watch it for a couple minutes. If you see anything suspicious, you should seek out and delete that file. http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/source/filemon.shtml
3)Open Command Prompt (MS-DOS) and type "netstat". This shows you all the connections that are currently active. If there are any suspicious connections, you can block the port that is causing it. Be aware, however, if you block ports, it may cause other programs to function incorrectly.
