Web Based Management
I have upgraded to Compaq Network Management System(CNMS) V 2.2.6 (as downloaded from ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/softpaq/sp10501-11000/sp10681.exe) but I am un able to start the web based management feature of it.
It works fine (with out web managenets) currently.
as per its documentation i have installed the software on to NT4 running iis3. on stating the cnms application on going throught the "user settings wizzard" the "Enable web management" tab is greyed out. wiilst displaying "you can't use the web-based management because you donot have the necessary web-server softwar installed or you do not have the web-based manegment module installed. See the user guide etc......."
Also in tools - preferances the web tab wich is reffered to in the documentation is not present.
IIS is configured and running fine.
Can you offer any help please or supply more infor on the web based management module.
If i cant resolve i will have to move to intel so i can get web based continutiy

Re: Web Based Management
Hi,
Did you install the Networking Management Software Element Manager for Web Support version from the HP site (SP6113.exe)?
If not, try this.

good luck,
Jeroen
