Wireless Connection Problems (2nd time)

I have an HP Pavilion DV6000. I'm having problems connecting to the internet The wireless network card doesn't not show up on the tooldbar.. It looks as if I do not have a wireless card installed at all. It also does not show up in device manager. What do I need to do???

Re: Wireless Connection Problems (2nd time)

Hello James,

Check the following to know if it working or not.

1- Try to restart AP.
2- Check laptop battery.
3- Check proxy server setting.

I'm not sure what the AP is. The battery life is good. I'm also not sure what the proxy server setting is.

Re: Wireless Connection Problems (2nd time)

Hello Again,

You need to know AP status

About proxy server setting .. you can get it from

Tools >> Internet Options >> Connection >> LAN Setting >> Proxy Server

If (Use a proxy .... ) is checked try to delete it any try again

Points are welcome
