Wireless Connection Problems (2nd time)
I have an HP Pavilion DV6000. I'm having problems connecting to the internet The wireless network card doesn't not show up on the tooldbar.. It looks as if I do not have a wireless card installed at all. It also does not show up in device manager. What do I need to do???

Hello James,
Check the following to know if it working or not.
1- Try to restart AP.
2- Check laptop battery.
3- Check proxy server setting.

I'm not sure what the AP is. The battery life is good. I'm also not sure what the proxy server setting is.

Hello Again,
You need to know AP status
About proxy server setting .. you can get it from
Tools >> Internet Options >> Connection >> LAN Setting >> Proxy Server
If (Use a proxy .... ) is checked try to delete it any try again
