Wireless Disappeared
Hello everyone,
i've seen that many people complain that their wireless just disappeared in their tx1000 series.
I just want to say i am sad victim of this issue. I know i am one more on the pile but i just want EVERYONE TO KNOW that this is not a windows, drivers, or anything to do.. I know people have been saying this is a motherboard issue. THEY WHERE RIGHT.
I know this because i am linux user, and for a couple of months i've been using archlinux in my tx1120us with no trouble.. the wireless worked perfectly 'till some point it just disappeared.
when i do lspci to list the found hardware the broadcom wireless card is just not there (and it was before)
i just want to tell HP people that fix this issue as soon as possible since this is a problem that is bringing bad reputation to the brand! COME ON MAN! (sorry but i am just an angry client too)
good luck, hope someone finds a solution (my solution was buying a cheap usb wireless usb card but it is not the same.. i have to carry the dongle around and is not that fun..)
sincerely,
franco
