It maybe you are far away from the range, so the signal is weak (Signal to Noise is less than 20).
Or you have a security configured on the Wireless Network, but you didn't configure it properly in Windows.
If you open "View Available Wireless Networks" then see if you can get your wireless networn in the list, then before try to connect to it, check the security configuration, and try to get closer to the Wireless Access Point the try to connect.
More information about your setup will be usefull for us to help.
Don;t forget to assign points.

Apparently you have been connected before, but the signal strength is not that much, or the signal is fluctuating.
So you didn't get a proper IP address assignment from the DHCP in the Wireless Access Point.
Once this happenes, right click on the wireless connection on the task bar , then select Repair, it will repait the IP address assignment for you again through the DHCP.
