WL100 WLAN Sync problem
I have a WL100 access card and COMPAQ access point. The access point is connected to a small hub as is one computer running Windows NT 4.0 and a DSL endpoint. I can browse the Internet from both the PC as well as the iPAQ. So, the wireless stuff is set up and works. No problems from either computer. My problem occurs when I try to initiate a sync from the iPAQ using Connections / ActiveSync. The connection option is set to Network Connection and the computer name seems correct for the local network (the computer is named). The dialog then says "Connecting to Desktop(dialog title) : PC contacted. Locating connection agent. Please wait...". The dialog goes away a minute later and that's it. I have my Connection Settings on the PC set to allow a Network connection. I don't know what else I can do. I sure would like to enjoy a wireless sync with this neat device. Can anyone help me?
