Re: WL420
I recommend you to update to the newest firmware 2.1.5.
One of the reasons losing Wireless is:
The access point can experience wireless outages when the Ethernet port recieves too much broadcast traffic.
The broadcast traffic is serviced before all other traffic, which gives the appearance of a loss of connectivity for wireless clients.
Another reason is, you may have another channel6 wireless nearby and it makes interference with yours, and clients losing signal.
Good Luck !!!

Re: WL420
try changing the wireless channel number.
Please disable Encryption (if any) and check the performance.

Re: WL420
Changing Channel to another one may help, but i think you should know whats going on around you.
Use Net Stumbler and walk around the area where clients are disconnecting, and see what other Wireless networks around you, write down the Channel number and SNR value.
After doing this, decide which channel to go with, avoide using same channel of the highest SNR, and its recommended to go with ch 1, 6 or 11 which don't interfer with each other.
You can try also to make the channel select is Auto, and try it if that help.
For security disable, REMEMBER its only for testing purpose, you have to turn it back on.
From CLI:
HP420#config
HP420(config)#interface wireless g
HP420(if-wireless-g)#ssid index 1
HP420(if-wireless-g-ssid-1)#security-suite 1
From WEB:
Open internet explorer and type the IP address of your AP, then in the Wireless Interfaces > SSID Configuration > click the Security Suite button , select Suite 1.
Good Luck !!!
