1000BASE-T connection is disable

Hi,






 








I have a switch 3c16467 with 1000BASE-T connection , i connectted it to anothe switch but  a few times two segments work together then be disconnected. for solveing the problem i have reset the switch.






 



what is the problem?

I think it could be a problem with autonegotiation between both switches, trying setting this parameters manually in the switches and tell me what happened.
