2948 Plus Issue with Windows Network
I have two 3Com Baseline Switch 2948 Plus's in an edge switch location.
My central core is 3Com 5500G 48Port UTP/ 24 Port SFP / 24 Port SFP (Stacked).
All my other edge switches are Allied Telesis switches.
When I connect PC's through the 2948's they are not connecting to the network correctly, one way this is being shown is iff we update the domains active directory to push out software to clients connected via the 2948 they are not updating. As soon as we move them to another edge which has AT switches they update on first boot up.
I have lots of evidence to support this...screenshots etc.
I have backed up the configs from the two 2948's and wish to do a factory reset and re-apply of the configs...
Details from one of the 2948's:
Product Description: | 3Com Baseline Switch 2948 Plus |
System Name: | Core-Edge#1 |
System Location: | Balcarras Core Cabinet |
System Contact: | Jeff Arris |
Serial Number: | 2TGGAVNEF4340 |
Product 3C Number: | 3CBLSG48 |
System Object ID: | 1.3.6.1.4.1.43.1.8.62 |
MAC Address: | 00:22:57:ef:43:40 |
System Up Time: | 47 days, 20 hours, 20 minutes, 49 seconds |
Software Version: | 01.00.09 |
Boot Version: | 00.00.15 |
Hardware Version: | 1.0.1 |
I believe they are on the latest software, please can someone confirm that there is nothing else I can try before I factory reset and re-apply the config?
Regards.
