3 com switch problem !

hi all

i have a 3 com switch __ baseline 48 pt + 2 gigabit 3c16476 ... it was working fine since 2 to 4 years .. but now it has a problem .. the power is working fine the lit(lights on switch) are working and blinking but there is no networking on that . even 2 pcs are not be able to connect by that switch .. kindly suggest me what to do ... should i upgrade .. or there is any reset or reinstall option available ?

I would suggest you to update the software, no doubt. If the problem persists, make a double-check on the switch settings and save the new settings, sometimes the configuration file corrupts and can generate weird behaviors.

You can download the software on the "Support > Downloads & Drivers" tab on the 3Com main web page. You just need to input the part number of your switches on the search box, and download the software.



Through the web console of the switch you will see an option that updates the firmware. It's easy to do, don't worry.
