3COM inter-VLAN routing between VLANs and unmanaged network
Hi,
I have a 3COM 2948-SPF switch configured as follows:
[router] <- trunk -> [3COM switch with unmanaged, VLAN5, VLAN10]
VLAN5 and VLAN10 are tagged on the trunk port, 1, and untaged on ports 2-24 and 26-48 respectually.
Traffic between either of the VLANs to any of the unmanged VLAN ports is always going through the router, is there a way to make this traffic go though only the switch?

Re: 3COM inter-VLAN routing between VLANs and unmanaged network
afaik, that switch has no layer3 routing capabilities. If you need routing between VLANs, and extra device is required. (other switch with L3 functionality, or your firewall)
