3com's Inter VLAN (Router on Stick) /w CiscoRouter

Hi everyone,

Several days ago, i just bought 3com 2226 plus 3CBLSF26 managed switch. As the spec sheet mentioned that this switch support 802.1q VLAN, i bought it to build VLAN network. But, now i have problem to interconnect this VLAN.

I have Cisco 1841 Router and configure it with subinterface & dot1q encapsulation. But, i have problem how to configure trunk link & encapsulation mode in 3com switch. What should i do to make this 2 machine work together?

Thanks.

You can setup the switch port where the router is connected to as the following way:

Through the web console assign the native VLAN (PVID = Private VLAN ID) as untagged; the other VLANs that you want to pass through the trunk you need to assign as tagged VLANs.
