4200G 48port is not responding
Hi,
I've go one standalone 4200G 48 port switch. It's configured correctly. I needed to reconnect the power cord to another UPS. When the switch boots up, I can't reach it. No ping response, no web access. No idea waht could happen. I looked to my DHCP leases but it seems the wsitch is holding the right IP address. (DHCP not enabled)
Any ideas? Should I connect via console and try to look for something?
Thanks

Re: 4200G 48port is not responding
The switch is forwarding traffic but is not responding to web console nor even ICMP requests, right? I would suggest you to try to connect through console and if the switch does not respond yet, reboot it already connected to console and break the boot sequence using CTRL+B keys. In the boot menu choose the option to update the firmware and try an upgrade to the latest firmware version using XModem at the maximum speed (115000bps).
Select the new firmare to boot and reboot the switch. If the problem persists, open a case in the 3Com support.
