5500-Stack switch-update ?

Hi,

     I am facing some issues in update the switch.I got only 8mb space in my flash drive.But my update file got 10 mb.

(*) -with main attribute   (b) -with backup attribute
(*b) -with both main and backup attribute

Update procedure

Import the new software application file into unit 1 flash memory.

<5500> tftp x.x.x.x get S5500_5520X-CMW520-R1211.bin

Copy this file to all units in the stack.

<5500> copy S5500_5520X-CMW520-R1211.bin slot2#flash:/  

<5500> copy S5500_5520X-CMW520-R1211.bin slot3#flash:/ 

Set the new boot file

<5500> boot-loader file S5500_5520X-CMW520-R1211.bin slot all main.

Verify all units in the stack show the new file name to boot from next time.

 <5500> display boot-loader

Save the current config and reboot the stack.

<5500> save

will this procedure work for me ?

The tftp will most likely fail if you dont have enough space on the flash. You'll have to delete the existing image before issuing the tftp command.

Delete unit1>flash:/s4c03_03_02s168p03.app

cleaning 

reset recycle-bin unit1>flash:/

You can also use delete /unreserved to delete the files at  once, not sending it to recycle bin.

Hello! 

I am having a big problem with the starting of the switch. 

Previously I deleted the file s4c03_03_02s168p13.app and now my switch doesn´t start. I can enter to BootRoom using Ctrl- B.

Does anybodoy have an idea?

Help me! Please.
