Block DHCP Traffic
Hello guys,
I'm having the following problem, I would like to block all traffic on my routers DHCP and only release for a single machine on the network is this possible? I'm having this problem because I have 2 dhcp servers on my network. Only one server can distribute the other IPs should be isolated in this switch.
Thanks
Cícero

Re: Block DHCP Traffic
Hi,
You can use dhcp-snooping command. Set trusted port (on the switch) on your one dhcp server. All other untrusted ports will be banned for sending DHCPOFFER packets. Of course both dhcp servers must be connected to different ports in the switch.
Best regards,
V.
