Cannot stack 2 HPE 5510 Switches with 2-port QSFP+ module
Hello Everyone,
I cannot stack 2 of my 5510 switches using JH155A 2-port QSFP+ modules connected via Crosswise connection (using 2 DAC cables). In the last step where second switch should restart it does not.
After the configuration both IRF ports are listed as down, and both switches have role master. Config is correct but for some reason links dont come up and botch swithes cant see each other. Tested the same using Eth ports, everything works. Does it have to do something with QSFP+ modules?
All Firmwares have been updated.

Re: Cannot stack 2 HPE 5510 Switches with 2-port QSFP+ module
Are you using a pair of DAC Cables picked up within the list of supported ones?
- HPE X240 40G QSFP+ to QSFP+ 1m Direct Attach Copper Campus Cable JH697A
- HPE X240 40G QSFP+ to QSFP+ 3m Direct Attach Copper Campus Cable JH698A
- HPE X240 40G QSFP+ to QSFP+ 5m Direct Attach Copper Campus Cable JH699A
Are your two HPE FlexFabric 5510 HI running on Comware 7.10 R1309P07 (latest) software version?

Re: Cannot stack 2 HPE 5510 Switches with 2-port QSFP+ module
Hello, we are using HPE X240 40G QSFP+ to QSFP+ 1m Direct Attach Copper Cable (JG326A) with the switches JH146A, which should be supported. And yes we are running the newest Comware version.

Can you share how you're setting up the IRF (step by step)? can you share some diagnostic outputs with regards do your DACs status?
