Daisy Chain or not?
Hi guys,
Would like your input on this please...
I have 4 3Com Switches -
1. Baseline Switch 2226 SFP Plus (3CBLSF26)
2. Baseline Switch 2426 PWR Plus (3CBLSF26PWR)
3. Baseline Switch 2426 PWR Plus (3CBLSF26PWR)
4. 3Com Baseline Switch 2924 SFP Plus (3CBLSG24) - our backbone switch
Currently the bus ports (ports 25) of Switches 1, 2 and 3 are all individually connected to switch 4, each in their own port (ports 1,2 and 3).
My question is, is this the best way to connect these switches or would it be better to daisy chain the top 3, which will then all connect to port 1 of Switch 4?
(Switch 4 does not have a bus port)
My knowledge is rather limited on this, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)
Kind regards,
Rudi
