DHCP Snooping
I have some 4500's all connecting back to a 5500 which has an uplick back to our HQ. The 4500's are acting as purley a layer 2 device and all routing is taking place on 5500.
Now i have read the manual and i know how to configure DHCP snooping, however, it is not clear whether i configure this function on the access layer 2 4500's or whether i configure this on the routed layer 3 5500. The obvious place to carry out this checking at a packet level is on the 4500's, but as the 5500 is the layer 3 device and the relay agent is configured there, Im not sure where to configure it.
Any thoughts would bve greatfully received.
