Ethernet virtual interconnect physical interfaces ?

Hi,

 

I am study the EVI concept. I do have a question about the physical interfaces where we enable EVI.

For these interface where EVI is enable, could we still use them for the normal Layer 3 traffic ? Or do we have to use the EVI interfaces only for EVI traffic, and for the normal Layer3 traffic to use other non EVI interfaces?

 

I do not find limitation about this in the user guide.

Does  some one have knowledge about this ?
