Help with Lab Please
Hi there,
I have a simple lab set up. I have a DC either side and they are connected via Route Agg link. I have a SVI on both sides with another switch connected so that both SVI's are up. SVI IP on 1 side is 192.168.10.1/24 other side 192.168.10.2/24. I have Statics set up on both sides etc. The Point to point link (RAGG) is 172.21.99.1 and .2.
Here is the strange thing; when I have both SVIs up I can only ping Nort to South..So switch I am on can ping the switch directly connected not over the RAGG point to point obviously. I cannot ping the other switch's SVI accross the RAGG. This is the same on the other DC side. Here is the strange thing; when I shut down an SVI on 1 side the switch in the other DC can ping accross fine. So basically my lab with only work accross the point to point links if 1 of the SVIs are shutdown.
Here is my statics,
DC1;
dis current-configuration | i static
ip route-static 10.60.94.0 24 172.21.99.2
ip route-static 10.60.105.0 24 172.21.99.2
ip route-static 172.21.9.2 32 172.21.99.2
ip route-static 192.168.10.0 24 172.21.99.2
DC2;
ip route-static 10.60.80.0 24 172.21.99.1
ip route-static 10.60.98.0 24 172.21.99.1
ip route-static 10.60.150.0 24 172.21.99.1
ip route-static 172.21.9.1 32 172.21.99.1
ip route-static 192.168.10.0 24 172.21.99.1
Obviously I am just concentrating on the 192.168.10/24 address at the moment.
Any help much appreciated

Re: Help with Lab Please
Hello,
Which SVI you are shutting down and what is the IP address on it?
Is this happening for all SVI's or only for a particular SVI?
Can try to add a default route on both DC and check?
Thanks!

Re: Help with Lab Please
Hi there,
At present I am only working with the 192.168.10 (Test) range. When I shut down SVI Int vlan 10 (192.168.10.1) I am able to ping the 192.168.10.2 and 192.168.10.10 oposite DC. I have statics in place on both sides,(My default routes) please see my previous posts. It is a weird one.
Thanks for your help by the way, if you can think of anything else please let me know.

Re: Help with Lab Please
Hello @prodigy811 ,
I have tried to replicate the issue but I haven't face such issue when one SVI is down and its started reaching to other switches.
May be your device has more config.
1. Can you please share display ip routing-table from all 4 devices?
2. Please share interface level config from all devices which includes route-aggregation config as well.
Thanks!
