high ping response 3com 4210

Hi guys. We have a lot 4210 switches and all this have high ping response... This is a fabric problem or a configuration ?

I upgraded the system, reset to default configuration and try a lot and a lot configurations, but no success....

Sometimes we get 2000 ms in one ping...  In a point-to-point test(my pc with static ip and the switch) i have same problem...

What is your ping to the device behind this 4210 unit?

Even if 2000ms sounds odd getting high "ping" from a single unit isnt that odd if the hop next in line is normal.

However unusual high pings from a single unit could be due to some kind of network loop hitting the mgmt plane too much (or other continues changes in the network so the routingtable and/or spanning tree must be recalced all the time).

Dunno about commands but what about looking at cpu usage?

Try this command:

display cpu-usage history

The cpu usage should be around 15-20% (from my own experience with 5820 and 5120EI devices).

Above a ping from sw 42100 and sw behind

All me 4210 have the same behavior (high ping and hig cpu level)

I think can be a loop in network because I found some. But why this behavior happend only with 4210.
