HP 5500 HI NAT configuring

Hi guys !

Does anyboby know HP 5500 HI support NAT ?

I have 2 HP 5500 HI stack, I need to config static PAT. I can't find any information about NAT configuring in configuration guides for this switch.

Thank you for reply !

Hi

no, it doesn't. Use a router or firewall.

Thank you for reply.

It's amazing, there are a lot of features like BGP, MPLS, but there is no NAT..

I can agree but at the same time thats most likely limitations of the silicon being used (A-series use mainly broadcom chips).

While we are complaining I wish to complain that the FIBs in all HP A-series are 512k or similar, meaning a full Internet IPv4 BGP-table wont fit anylonger :-(

Personally I think it should be an easy task for a giant such as HP to produce hardware that have decent amount of memory in year 2014 :-S
