HP A5500-24G SI software upgrade

Is it possible to upgrade software on HP A5500-24G SI switch to  HP A5500-24G EI  ?

In HP A5500-24G EI  there is policy based routing feature that is not in HP A5500-24G SI, can I upgrade HP A5500-24G SI to got PBR feature ?

I asked this same question of my SE the other day I guess they have different ASICs so upgrade is not possible.
