HP Switch with Dual Power Supply
I am looking for a switch for a small office with 10/100/1000 48-Ports POE and (2) 1GbE SFP ports. There are so many switches in the category, but none comes with Dual Power Supply unless I move into a high-end switch portfolio. I am looking for a dedicated redundant PS slot , not RPS type of a solution.
Anyone has any suggestion.
Thanks

Re: HP Switch with Dual Power Supply
No you're probably right, RPS is the only solution for these switches.

Re: HP Switch with Dual Power Supply
Well,
for ~7000,-€ without VAT:
1x HP 5800-48G (JC101A)
1x HP 5800 PoE Module (JC097B)
2x HP 5800 750W AC PoE Power Supply (JC089A)
for ~3400,-€ without VAT:
1x HP 3800-48G-PoE+-4SFP+ Switch (J9574A)
1x HP X312 1000W 100-240VAC to 54VDC Power Supply (J9580A)
for ~3300,-€ without VAT:
1x HP 5406-44G-PoE+-4G v2 (J9534A)
1x HP 1500W PoE+ zl (J9306A)
but you´re right, a simple/layer 2 48 1Gbe Port PoE switch with dual PSU would be a great addition to HP´s portfolio. Is there anyone on the roadmap?
Hm, for ~2000,-€ without VAT:
1x Cisco 3560X, WS-C3560X-48P-L 48 port PoE
1x Cisco C3KX-NM-1G= 4x SFP module
1x Cisco 350W AC power supply (C3KX-PWR-350WAC=)
Update:
HP A5500-HI with POE+ (based upon H3C S5500-58C-PWR-HI and S5500-34C-PWR-HI)
- price: still unknown
