switch pb.PNGhpe switch 1.PNG

Hello,

I bought a new HPE 1950 JG961A switch to build a stack, I don't know what my colleague did but we have a problem, I don't know how to explain it but we lost all the configuration, and there is not even a reset button.

can you help me solve this problem?

thank you

Hello  yfourar,

You may try the following procedure to restore the switch:

https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=emr_na-c05366090

Hope this helps!

PS: You may also use "Restore to factory default configuration" option on the boot menu.

Re: HPE 1950' os problem

Hello @yfourar ,

Can you try to reset/clear cookies of the browser and try to login again?

If it doesn't work then reload the switch and check again.

How are you accessing cli of the switch? Try to access via console and check if 'initialize' command is there?

This will reset to factory default.

or Follow the steps as shared by @-Alex-

This device is locked for full cli acccess for users so you can not see all commands.

Thanks!
