Info-Center to include Interface Description in log sent to LogHost
Hi I'm new to H3C switch.
I have some S5500 EI series switches that I need to setup the info-center to send the logs to the log host. However when an interface is down (cable unplugged), the log only displayed the interface name e.g. GigabitEthernet1/0/1 is DOWN which is not intuitive to the operators.
I would like to know if there is any way I can configure the log sent to the log host to include more meaningful information such as the Description of the Interface such that the message will show e.g. Device 116 - Network A is DOWN, etc.
Thank you.
