Interface utilization Log & Threshold

Hi Guys,

I have many HP A5500-24G-4SFP HI Switch in my network, where there are complaints of traffic spike & very high utilization for a fractional second. As the utilization is for a fractional second, it doesn't get captured in the command "display interface"  output.

Can anyone please help me to configure a threshold for traffic utilization of any port & log should be generated on the switch whenever the threshold breaches, even for a fractional second.

Hi

Don't know for sure but i don't think that command exists.

I think the best way to monitor your network and traffic is to install IMC, the monitoring tool of HP. You can try this tool  30 days for free.
