IRF and Cluster - Whats the difference?

We are in the process of configuring 8 5800AF-48G switches in an IRF Stack.  Being somewhat new to comware switches we noticed that the web interface has a section labled Cluster.   If we already have these switches configured with IRF, do we need to bother with clustering?  the documentation doesnt seem to explain how the two inter-relate with each other.
