IRF Node Replacement
Hi Friends,
I am new to HP Switches,
We have two HP5500-24G EI switches stacked using IRF..
just has quary while replacing faulty node,
we have to do IRF configuration same as we did on faulty switch and then need to add in IRF ?
is configuration related to that node will erase ?
Thanks,
Deep17

Re: IRF Node Replacement
I would probably boot up the new switch, install the same image as the IRF stack, configure it with the switch ID its supposed to have in the stack, power off, connect to the stack and power on. It will receive the config from the stack master after stack merge.
