Link flapping 5130 comware switch
Hello
Is it possible to prevent linkflapping from happening on a comware switch 5130?
That maybe after 5 times the port will shut or send a alarm or somthing?
Thanks

Re: Link flapping 5130 comware switch
Hi HP-Browniee!
No. You wouldn't want to disable that on the 5130. The better course of action is to find out why the connected device is flapping. If it is an end device like a PC, Printer, or Phone, you can set the port to be an edge port and that should not disrupt the 5130. You'll still get the messages but they will be ignored as far as the switching functions are concerned.
Regards,
David
