LLDP ISSUE WITH 3600
Hello all ,
I have 2 switches 3600 connected directly with a IRF stack ( 2 * 5500 switch ) , and i have a few IP phone connected directly to the 3600 switches .
the problem is : when i disconect the ip phone from the first 3600 switch and i connect it with the other 3600 , the ip phone got a IP address from the DHCP server ( we can show the ip address into the screen of the Ip phone ) but he don't work and i can' do a ping to ip phone
when i do the commande ( DISPLAY LLDP ) there is this message :
MSTP/6/MSTP_FORWARDING: Instance 0's port Ethernet1/0/12 has been set to forwarding state.
[3] LLDP/6/LLDP_CREATE_NEIGHBOR: New neighbor created on Port Ethernet1/0/12 (IfIndex 9371659), Chassis ID is 0.0.0.0, Port ID is 0004-f2f1-72bf.
[3] IFNET/3/LINK_UPDOWN: Ethernet1/0/11 link status is UP.
[3] MSTP/6/MSTP_FORWARDING: Instance 0's port Ethernet1/0/11 has been set to forwarding state.
[3] IFNET/3/LINK_UPDOWN: Ethernet1/0/11 link status is DOWN.
[3] IFNET/3/LINK_UPDOWN: Ethernet1/0/11 link status is UP.
==> why the chassis ID is SET to : 0.0.0.0 ?
When i try the ( RESET ARP ALL) ==> no problem the IP phone work perfectly
But i must try the ( RESET ARP ALL) everytime when i connect another IPphone or change it from switch to another
==> what's the relationship between ARP and LLDP in this case ?
Please can someone help me , I will be very grateful
Thx A lot
