[new] A5830, A5500-EI-D ?
Hi,
1. HP includes H3C/3Com
2. So, let´s look at H3C homepage:
Here we are: S5830, which could be the next A5830:
http://www.h3c.com.cn/Products___Technology/Products/IP_Network/Switches/S5800/S5830/
But hey, what´s this? Does A5500-EI gets a refresh? Possible, who knows? Here is a S5500-EI-D
http://www.h3c.com.cn/Service/Document_Center/IP_Network_Product/Switches/S5500/S5500-EI-D/
Perhaps someone knows more?

Re: [new] A5830, A5500-EI-D ?
Hi Michael
All H3C Switches will be tested in China before HP desides if they will be launched in Europa/America.
A5830 is similar to A5800 with 48 or 96 Gbit/s ports and a few 10G ports. It has two powersupplys and switchable front/back, back/front airflow. It's made for datacenter top of rack and will be launched in september/october in EMEA.
I never heard of a new/extended release of S5500/A5500

Manuel
