New request on HP 5500

Can somebody explain the main differences between the 5500 SI, 5500 EI and 5500 HI?

Re: New request on HP 5500

Hi,

SI versions are switches with standard image and standard feature set.

EI versions have enhanced image with advanced features, especially full L3 routing (OSPF, BGP, VRRP, PIM,...)

HI versions (not sure about the abbreviation) are the newest in the family and in additional to EI have internal redundant power and MPLS/VPLS support.

For details please see quick specs.

BR,

Jan
