Port Mirror not working.

Hi.



I have a 3C16486 swicth.  I configured the Port Mirror on ports 18 and 6.  When I connect a Linux machine on port 6 (analizer port),  this machine doesnot ping any ip on network.  If I remove the Port Mirror in the swicth, it back working.  It is very easy to configure, but I do not know what is happening.  Can anyone help me ?

A host connected to a mirror port does not reach the network, just keep listening the traffic mirrored to its port. This behavior is absolutely normal.
