port up-mode

Hi,

I need to force the state "up" of  interface for device 3Com4800 and HP5500 but I don't find the specific command CLI.

For the HPE 5510  I have found the command "port up-mode" (Forcibly bring up an interface without a fiber connection) but not in 3Com4800 and HP5500.

Do you have any info?

Hi,

 

 3Com4800 & HP5500 run on comware3/comware5 where as HPE5510 switch runs on comware7, that could be the reason that this feature/command is not available.

maybe the command is not supported in that platform
