regarding a wrong configuration... tell me what to do please

hi all,

i had a problem today while i was configuring on hp5120 switch. i mistooklu configured a wrong command 

[hp]ip verifi source ip-address

as soon as i hit this command. The telnet session which i was working ON got disconnected and i cant do anything as i donot have a console connection. help me what to do .. thanks a lot

I'm afraid you've reached the wrong forum for your question as this forum deals with LoadRunner related issues.

I suggest obtaining the needed terminal cable, connect your laptop to the switch and reconfigure.

That is your only option to re-configure the needed settings.

Ask someone to reload the switch for you if it is remote site, switch should boot from the saved configuration file. The change that you made is in the running-configuration..
