SSH Disconnect to fast

Hello, we´re using a 3com e5500g 3CR17250-91 OS V3.02.04s56. The problem is that the ssh-session to the switch disconnects after min. 10 sec while there is no user-activity. I already set idle-timeout higher or to zero but there is no effect. Thanks, Mark.

Hi,

Have you try this with different SSH client ? Or a fresh installation of your software ? I think about a software parameter that could disrupt the session.

the problem is a version of ssh on a SLES 9: OpenSSH_4.1p1, OpenSSL 0.9.7d 17 Mar 2004

With putty on a windows, ssh on a debian or ssh on sles 10 i had no problems.

I think you need to adjust the login time option, this is available on the line vty 0 4 , please check
