stp message on switch JG933A - comware
i keep getting this message on the notification :
Instance 0's port Ten-GigabitEthernet1/0/26 received its own BPDU.
what does it mean?

Hi @hpeuser2021 !
It means you have a loop and STP message sent out of swtichport Ten-GigabitEthernet1/0/26 arrived back on the same port.

when you say loop, you mean that the switch on the other side of port 26 (the other side has an aruba switch) has a loop within it? or a loop between this comware switch and this aruba switch? (meaning, more than 1 cable is running between them)

From the information I have so far it's hard to say where the loop is, but there is a fact - STP BPDU that has been sent out of port 26 arrived back to the same port. As you may guess the loop may be anywhere - in the adjacent Aruba switch, in the network behind the Aruba switch... I would check VLAN assignments on the inter-switch links.
