upgrade old 3com 3824

Hi,



in in my School, i have an old 3com 3824 Switch.

When i try to upgrade the Software from Version 1_12 to 2_xx the upgrade fails after the upload form TFTP Server finished with success. At the console i always get the mesage:



>> Warning!! The number of files of the given type

>> exceeds the maximum number. Operation Inhibited.

>> Error.



When I try to downgrade, i receive the same message.



I hope that someome can explain me what to do.

And please excuse my bad english, because i'm german!

The same thing is happened to my switch





I upgraded from 1.10 to 1.12 successfully, but after that, i can't upgrade to 2.00 neither downgrade to 1.10 again.





Warning!! The number of files of the given type exceeds the maximum number. Operation Inhibited.





Would be great if someone can answer this topic
