Will adding a VRF (VPN-instance) on a 5820 break current non-VRF routes?

Unfortunately I dont have a spare unit to test this on but if I add a VRF (VPN-intsance) lets say for MGMT will that somehow break current non-VRF routes?

Or will they be "unnamed" and continue to function along with this new VRF?

sure, you can consider the existing routing table as the first vrf, so making another vpn-instance (vrf) does not have any impact on the existing routing table,
