18.2G adding problems
We want to add two disk drives (18.2G) to the existing Raid5 array which contains already 7 18.2G drives. The problem is that we are getting the following error "the array cannot be expanded because there are no physical drives available that are large enough".
The two new disk have part number BD018122C0
Some of the other part numbers are DGHS18Y01C0, AD018335CA
The array is type Smart-2DH firmware 3.08

Re: 18.2G adding problems
Could it be that you can only have 7 drives per channel on that card? I'm not a 100% sure but that would explain why the controller doesn't see any more drives to expand to.

Re: 18.2G adding problems
I'm getting the same exact error, and I only have 3 drives on the channel and am trying to add a fourth. Please help!
